Board of Directors Opportunities
Our Board of Directors provides strategic leadership and governance to ensure CHSN remains sustainable, transparent, and responsive to community needs.
Treasurer — Board of Directors
Provide strategic financial oversight and help guide the long-term sustainability of Central Hastings Support Network.
We are seeking an experienced Treasurer to support board-level financial governance, advise on financial policy and risk, and collaborate with the Executive Director and Finance Coordinator.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Volunteers are the heart and soul of Central Hastings Support Network.
Without their hours of selfless work, we simply wouldn’t be able to deliver help to those members of our community who are in need. There are many ways you can help, just a few examples are:
- Helping our Food Bank customers sign up for support
- Helping to keep track of inventories and stock the shelves
- Helping with the pick-up and stocking of donated food
- Driving community members without their own transportation to medical, dental or legal appointments
- Organizing and implementing special fundraising events like the Fashion Show and charity tournaments
- As a Member of the CHSN Board of Directors or a Member of one of our Committees.
- Working in the office – phones, computers, filing, office upkeep
- Delivering the Christmas Sharing packages
